Who We Are

Russel and Sam, two childhood friends, both grew up with fathers who were general contractors in Raleigh, NC. They learned all the skills and trades from their fathers. Sam and Russell moved to the Wilmington, NC area after High School to attend college. After a couple years of doing our own thing and life taking them in different directions; Russell and Sam came together and formed S & R Remodeling in 2018. Shortly after, Sam and Russell became Licensed General Contractor in 2021. They both have a passion and knowledge of the construction industry and have a combined 35 years of experience. We are both avid outdoorsman and stewards for the outdoors.

Sam

Sam moved to Wilmington, NC in 2008 and eventually moved back to Raleigh to complete his degree. He graduated from NCSU in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science degree. He moved back to the Wilmington area in 2016 where he met his wife and worked as a manager for a landscaping company. He now lives in the Leland area with his wife and two children.

Russell

Russell moved from Raleigh, NC to Wilmington, NC in 2008 to attend Cape Fear Community College. He worked as a paramedic for 3 years before he began working as a foreman for a contracting company; where he learned the essential skills of the trade. Russell currently resides in Wilmington, NC with his dog Cheddar.
